Mobile recruitment goes a step further
October 2015 – With the release of iOS 9 a couple of months ago, employers can now capture mobile applicants using Apple devices.
In this latest release, Apple introduced a feature that did not get much mention, but that is extremely relevant for us in the recruitment world: it finally allows applicants to upload files from their mobile device. It also let candidates access popular cloud storage apps such as Dropbox and Onedrive.
Mohammed Owais, Chief Technology Officer at Cazar, explains the benefits, “Android always had this functionality and with iOS 9 currently at 70% adoption, we can now finally give nearly 90% of all applicants the ability to complete their application from start to finish on their mobile phone or tablet. No changes are required from our clients to enable this functionality.”
