Cazar launches new office in Kuala Lumpur
Leading recruitment technology company expands further into Asia Pacific
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – November 3rd, 2015 – Leading recruitment technology and branding firm Cazar continues its growth across Asia as it opens an office in Kuala Lumpur. This comes 2 years after the company’s entry into the region through Hong Kong.
Stefan Sawh, Regional Director in Asia Pacific for Cazar, comments, “We are very excited about having a stronger presence in Malaysia to support our clients there as well as the growing business opportunities. Employers here are faced with many specific recruitment challenges that our platform and expertise in the area can help overcome. This includes attracting top talent, building a strong employer brand and delivering an overall candidate experience that captures the employees they are looking for.”
Indeed, recruitment in Malaysia is becoming increasingly difficult in certain sectors such as IT and Finance. According to research conducted by The Asian Institute of Finance (AIF) “76% per cent of employers in the country are struggling with talent shortages and more than half of these organizations say that this problem will continue to hinder organizational growth over the next three years.”
Meanwhile, there is over 10% youth unemployment, which is considered high for the region, compared to Singapore at 7% and Thailand at 3.4%.
Sawh adds, “The recruitment landscape has changed so much over the last five years. Candidates – especially graduates – are online, mobile and use social media. Leading employers know this and want to engage with top talent using these channels. But where does one start? That’s where we come in and give them the mix of technology, branding strategy and recruitment expertise they need to achieve this.”
Cazar works with leading employers in Asia Pacific as well as the Middle East including governments and large companies such as Indosat, PWC, Brandt International, Jumeirah Group and Qatar Airways. The company helps automate every step of the corporate recruitment process, from requisition to on boarding and processes millions of candidates each year for employers.
